Summary
Under general direction, this role ensures product availability, schedules deliveries, maintains associated records, and assists in the day-to-day coordination of related functions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinates product delivery to growers at an SGS operation to maximize resources of staff and to meet customer needs by scheduling and dispatching delivery staff in a manner which economically utilizes physical and human resources. May personally deliver product to customers.
- Provides service to walk-in customers. Receives telephone orders from customers and Sales Representatives. Prepares product mix instruction sheets, Material Safety Data Sheets, and work orders.
- Makes product purchase recommendations to Supervisor/Market Manager to ensure adequate inventory to meet sales and delivery needs. Ensures appropriate receipt and recordkeeping of unit inventory. Performs physical inventory counts.
- Performs miscellaneous duties such as filing and other clerical tasks, calculating product amounts, calibrating equipment, loading trucks, general equipment and plant maintenance, product storage activities, bending and warehouse work, etc.

Other Information
Possesses good interpersonal skills. Ability to count accurately. Must be organized and able to use the computer effectively.
