Applicator (South Charleston, OH)

Summary

Under general direction, this role performs a variety of job responsibilities which may include operation of a newer model application equipment, delivery of fertilizer and chemical products to customers, equipment and plant maintenance and fertilizer blending. 

Key Responsibilities

• Product application, calibrating application equipment, application equipment maintenance, and cleaning and storing application equipment
• Loading and delivering fertilizer and chemicals to customers
• General plant equipment maintenance and housekeeping responsibilities
• Receiving and unloading product deliveries and warehouse/inventory responsibilities
• Misc. duties such as special projects, attending provided trainings, providing back-up when/where needed

Typical Education

Relevant Experience

• Two plus years related experience and/or training.
• Knowledge of the local geography/roads/farms and ability to develop trust with management that moderate to heavy traffic can be negotiated effectively.
• Ability to assist in equipment rebuilds 
• Ability to calibrate a variety of application equipment 
• Ability to maintain maintenance records for equipment 
• Ability to set up and calibrate injection equipment is a plus
• Basic knowledge in the areas of mechanical, electrical welding and metal fabrication are a plus

Required Certifications

• Pesticide Applicator License required.
