About Our Role

• Permanent, full‑time position based on-site at Simplot Devonport
• Grower payment / administrative focused opportunity
• Monday to Friday - 0700-1500hrs daily

Raw Procurement comprises farming and harvesting operations in addition to leading research and development programs that support our potato and vegetable growers, ensuring our manufacturing sites have the best available produce for processing, today and for generations to come.  The Raw Procurement group work closely with local farmers & contract growers to plan, plant, grow, maintain, and harvest the seasonal crops to align with manufacturing production schedules.

Reporting to the Accounting Manager - Ag Services, and partnering with the Raw Procurement Manager - ANZ, the Grower Payment Administrator will work closely with internal & external stakeholders to facilitate the timely and accurate processing of grower payment and documentation in addition to providing general administrate support to the Raw Procurement team.  

What You Will Do

Working to a defined schedule (daily, weekly, monthly & quarterly), the Grower Payment Administrator will undertake administrative duties that may include (but are not limited to);

• Processing of monthly grower payments, accurately and within scheduled time frames
• Data entry & validation of daily raw material intake dockets / crop volumes & weights
• Support prepayment and debtor related processes
• Reporting (daily / weekly / monthly)
• Liaise with growers and internal stakeholders for queries & escalations
• Facilitation of seasonal activities e.g. external pallet / bin provider
• Coordinate payment authorisations and distribute remittance advice
• Undertake audits of data as required

About You

• Demonstrated experience in fast paced administration, finance support, or data processing roles - mandatory
• Relevant work history within the food / agricultural / FMCG / manufacturing industries will be highly regarded
• Exposure to ERP Systems will be advantageous - noting that Simplot utilise JD Edwards
• Possess a high attention to detail with a focus on accuracy
• Possess a strong verbal and written communication skillset
• Ability to work to schedule / deadlines
• Experience using MS Office suite of products - Word / Excel / Outlook / MS Teams etc.
• Willingness to undertake a pre-employment medical, including drug & alcohol screening
