A unique opportunity exists with Simplot's Global Services division in the position of Associate Talent Partner, undertaking & supporting the execution of high volume, full cycle recruitment activities for Simplot Global Food's Australian manufacturing operations. 

Reporting to the Regional Talent Lead APAC and based at Simplot Devonport, this permanent full-time position will attract & acquire leading talent for a range of factory-based production roles, ensuring compliance with Diversity, Equity and Inclusivity (DEI) and Equal Employment Opportunities (EEO) initiatives.  

What You Will Do

In this dynamic, people focused role - Associate Talent Partner duties will encompass (but are not limited to);

  • Partnering & collaborating with Hiring Managers to identify, scope & plan high volume + seasonal hiring activities
  • Providing regular reporting, metrics and updates to hiring teams
  • Drafting, posting and maintaining job adverts on internal & external portals
  • Reviewing & shortlisting applications
  • Phone screening candidates
  • Scheduling & facilitating of aptitude testing activities + group interviews
  • Coordinating & facilitating candidate pre-offer due-diligence activities i.e pre-employment medicals, reference checks, right to work documentation
  • Extending offers of employment + associated onboarding activities
  • Participating and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives

 

About You

Possessing a passion for all things people, we are seeking highly-motivated candidates who demonstrate the following attributes / competencies;

  • A 100% commitment to safety, health and wellbeing in the workplace
  • Experience within high volume recruitment activities (agency or internal) will be highly regarded
  • Understanding of industry best practice Talent Acquisition principles
  • Clear, concise and professional communication skills - both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationships and partner with a wide demographic of stakeholders
  • Experience in the use of ATS / recruitment software (noting that Simplot utilise SAP Success Factors)
  • Strong organisational & time management skills
  • An intermediate level of competency with MS Windows based OS
  • Skillset in ability to coach and influence conversational outcomes with a diverse group of stakeholders
  • Ability to undertake domestic travel, when required
  • Possess a current C class drivers licence - mandatory
