Sr Supply Chain Manager CAM (CDMX, MX)

Summary

This role applies to the senior most Supply Chain role in International locations where there are no manufacturing operations.  This role directs the policies, strategies, activities, and staff of a global supply chain.

Key Responsibilities

•    Establishes and maintains strategic relationships with domestic and international partners. Participates in development of purchasing and logistics strategies in line with business requirements.
•    Defines strategies for sourcing, buying, expediting, planning, warehousing, and distribution. Implements collaborative forecasting and planning initiatives.
•    Leads the S&OP process working closely with supply and demand sides to include an updated forecast that leads to a sales plan, production plan, inventory plan, customer lead time (backlog) plan, new product development plan, strategic initiative plan and resulting financial plan. 
•    Working cross functionally with production, planning, purchasing, sales/marketing as needed to create product supply plans to meet service and financial objectives while operating within Group wide constraints.
•    Monitors effectiveness of all major supply chains; plans, implements, and measures performance improvements.
•    Directs staffing, development, and performance management programs for all supply chain staff. Manages, motivates, and develops management team.
 

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

10+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

• Must have senior level management experience in a logistics environment, with a proven record of success in constant improvement, demonstrated understanding of transportation/distribution economics and pricing, and the ability to work cross functionally with results.
• Ability to conceptualize, design, implement and monitor plans, policies, procedures and systems necessary.
• Superior organizational, team building, planning and coordination skills are required.
• Excellent interpersonal and facilitation skills are required.
• Familiarity with network modeling desirable. Broad knowledge of production operations, sales, purchasing, marketing, IT, accounting and other functional areas is preferred.
