About our role
12-Month Fixed Term Contract | Mentone, VIC | Hybrid Working
As a Supply Planning Analyst, you will play a key role in managing and optimising supply planning systems, data and processes to support reliable supply execution across our network. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning – APAC, this role offers broad exposure across Supply Planning, Demand Planning, Procurement, Manufacturing and Logistics.
Acting as the link between planning systems and supply chain execution, you'll help translate demand requirements into achievable supply plans while maintaining planning system integrity, inventory targets and service objectives. You'll also identify planning exceptions, resolve master data and system issues, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives that enhance planning effectiveness across the business.
What you will do
- Maintain and optimise supply planning parameters within ERP and planning systems to support inventory, service and operational objectives
- Partner with Supply, Demand and Commercial teams to manage inventory health, shelf-life rotation and inventory resolution activities
- Generate, review and manage supply plans to ensure alignment with demand forecasts and network constraints
- Monitor planning system outputs, identify exceptions and coordinate the resolution of supply, inventory and data issues
- Manage planning master data, including lead times, sourcing rules, safety stock settings, planning calendars and reorder parameters
- Analyse supply chain performance data and provide insights to improve inventory health, service levels and planning accuracy
- Support planning effectiveness through reporting, KPI tracking, S&OP/IBP activities, continuous improvement initiatives and system enhancement opportunities
About you
- Experience in supply planning, inventory planning, materials planning or a related supply chain role
- Strong understanding of supply chain planning processes, particularly MRP, inventory management and planning parameters
- Experience with ERP, planning or scheduling systems (knowledge of PRMS, SCP or JDE will be highly regarded)
- Exposure to SQL, Oracle databases, SCP application support or planning system administration will be advantageous
- Advanced Excel skills, with strong analytical capability and confidence working with planning data
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify exceptions and resolve issues
- Strong communication and influencing skills, with the ability to build effective stakeholder relationships
- A curious, proactive mindset with a focus on continuous improvement
