About our role
We are seeking a Sales Planning Manager – APAC to join our team in a permanent, full-time capacity based at our Mentone office. This pivotal role reports directly to our Senior Manager, Global Sales Planning & Execution and leads one direct report – Sales Planning & Pricing Analyst (SEA, India & Middle East).
As Sales Planning Manager, you will play a key role in developing and executing strategic sales plans that drive performance across APAC Food Service channels. You will collaborate closely with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Demand Planning, and other cross-functional teams to ensure alignment with annual sales, volume, and margin goals. This is an exciting opportunity to influence business outcomes, optimize processes, and lead initiatives that support growth in a dynamic global environment.
What you will do
- Lead cross-functional initiatives to develop strategic business plans that enable execution against annual sales budgets.
- Collaborate with Sales Leadership, Marketing, Demand Planning, and other teams to align on sales strategies and objectives.
- Drive adoption of best practices, KPIs, dashboards, and reporting tools to support sales performance.
- Partner with Demand Planning to align forecasts and support the Sales & Operations Planning process.
- Oversee and guide the Sales Planning & Pricing Analyst for SEA, India & Middle East.
- Develop and maintain tools and processes that optimize territory analysis and customer prioritization.
- Coordinate with marketing teams to deliver targeted programs and initiatives for operators and distributors.
- Identify opportunities to improve data, tools, and processes to enhance efficiency and execution.
- Support decisions on seller territory evolution to meet changing business needs.
- Foster collaboration across supply chain and customer fulfillment teams to ensure seamless execution.
About you
You are a commercially savvy professional with a strong background in sales, sales operations or planning, and you thrive in roles that bridge strategy and execution. You bring a mix of analytical capability and interpersonal skills, enabling you to interpret data, identify opportunities, and influence change while maintaining strong relationships. You are comfortable working in ambiguous situations, partnering across functions, and putting your stamp on a newly created role.
To succeed, you will likely have:
- 5+ years’ experience in sales planning, sales operations, or a related commercial role.
- Proven ability to develop and implement sales plans that drive performance.
- Experience leading or mentoring team members, with a focus on collaboration and continuous improvement.
- Strong analytical skills – able to interpret data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills to engage cross-functional teams and, at times, external customers.
- Familiarity with sales systems (e.g., Salesforce) and reporting tools.
- A proactive mindset to identify inefficiencies and drive process improvements.
- Ability to work independently while managing priorities across multiple regions.
- A degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field desirable.
