About Our Role

We’re looking for a commercially minded Commercial Data Coordinator who enjoys working at the intersection of data, customers, sales, and marketing. This role is critical to ensuring Simplot’s products are optimally reflected in internal and customer digital platforms, enabling commercial success across the APAC region.

This is not a back-office data role. You’ll work closely with Sales, Marketing, IT, external vendors, and customers, translating commercial needs into practical data and system solutions. You’ll manage multiple initiatives at once, lead content and data-related projects, and continuously look for ways to improve processes, tools, and ways of working.

What You Will Do

• Own the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of product data syndicated to customer digital shelves across APAC using platforms such as GS1 and Salsify
• Partner with Sales and Marketing teams to proactively identify and resolve content or data issues impacting customer digital shelves
• Lead and coordinate large scale content and data initiatives, including brand changes, category updates, testing, and customer specific requirements
• Act as a trusted point of contact for internal teams and key customers on data related topics, ensuring clarity, accountability, and progress
• Ensure product data meets internal standards for accuracy, regulatory compliance, and commercial usability and embed best practice data governance processes across stakeholders and system users
• Monitor day to day system performance, manage incidents, and coordinate resolutions with IT and external partners
• Document and improve data flows, integrations, and operational processes, actively identifying opportunities for efficiency and scalability

About You

• Able to understand basic technology processes and data flows
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills – capable of managing multiple projects, timelines, and stakeholders simultaneously
• Confident in leading discussions and building effective working relationships with internal teams and external partners
• Proactive and solutions-focused, with the ability to anticipate problems, apply structured problem-solving, and drive practical outcomes
• Proficient in using systems and Microsoft tools (including Excel and Outlook), with strong attention to detail and data accuracy
• Adaptable, agile, and committed to continuous improvement in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Beneficial but not essential:

• Experience with Product Information Management (PIM) Systems, working with commercial data or eCommerce content
• Experience working with content syndication platforms (e.g. Salsify, GS1), and an understanding of how product data flows into retailer systems
