Temp Packaging Trainer (Days) Grand Forks GF

Summary

This position is responsible for ensuring practical and theoretical training is delivered to operators in a manner consistent with Simplot training needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor training level of overall teams within scope. Work with Training Specialist to develop training strategy for those teams
• Help to identify Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) on each team to aide in training efforts.
• Review training documents with employees to include safety documents, lock out tag out procedures, standard operating procedures (SOPs), standard work, etc.
• Provide limited hands-on training as required.
• Ensure self-compliance with Company policies and plant procedures, and the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
• Maintain Company standards for safety, quality, food safety, sanitation and GMPs.
• Work within safety rules and regulations in actively avoiding injury to self and others.
• Maintain necessary level of communication with team members and other support groups and does so in a participative management style conducive with operational goals.

Typical Education

High school diploma or equivalent is required. Two-year degree is preferred.

Relevant Experience

• Three years’ previous manufacturing experience required.
• Previous training experience is helpful.

Required Certifications

• Train the trainer (Training will be provided)

Other Information

• Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Must be able to read, understand, and communicate in English in a manner to successfully complete job duties.
• Basic computer knowledge is required.
• Must be able to use MS Office products.
