Summary
The HBF Forklift Operator, is responsible for responsible for safely operating material handling equipment to move, locate, stack, and count merchandise within a cold storage warehouse environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a forklift to transport totes from production lines to the warehouse.
- Load, unload, high-stack, and stage totes of frozen products.
- Accurately enter data and product locations using a hand scanner.
- Read daily order sheets and retrieve appropriate products from the warehouse.
- Load and unload trailers at the dock.
- Perform pre-operation maintenance checks on forklifts and report any issues.
- Charge forklift batteries as needed.
- Balance multiple tasks, work under pressure, and exercise good judgment.
- Work independently or with minimal supervision.

Ability to safely operate a forklift, loading and unloading trucks, and high stacking totes.
