General Laborer (Crew C) Grand Forks GF

Summary
This position will ensure that the plant equipment and surrounding areas are kept clean, sanitary, and safe. General Laborers are able to work anywhere necessary to help the plant operate efficiently. These duties should be performed in a manner consistent with safety, quality and production goals.
Key Responsibilities
- General Laborers are required to cross-train in one area of expertise in processing. (Fryer Op, Form Line Op, Vision Systems Op, Batter Op, Peeler Op, Cutter Op, Line 2 Op). Cross-training will be arranged by the employee with the Shift Manager.
- Ensures there is no injury to self or others by following safe work practices (including Standard Operating Procedures) and policies.
- Food Safety is everyone’s responsibility.
- Attend and participate in all training activities for the position. Ensure the acquired skills and knowledge are applied.
- Ensures sanitation of equipment and housekeeping of the entire facility.
- Must be a team player and help to meet operational goals.
- Performs all such other duties as may be reasonably assigned by Manager.
- Assists the Wet End Team with each product line.
- Assists the Distribution Team with palletizing.
- Assists with shut downs, start ups, and cleaning tasks.
