Operations Support 1 (General Laborer) - Crowley, LA

Summary

Under general direction, performs a variety of operational support responsibilities including warehouse operations, seed handling, inventory management, equipment operation, facility maintenance, and general housekeeping. Supports daily activities involving agricultural products including seed, crop protection products, and fertilizer while maintaining a safe, organized, and efficient work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with daily warehouse, seed, fertilizer, and crop protection product operations.
• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move products and inventory.
• Receive, stage, load, and unload products for storage and shipment.
• Assist with rice seed handling, conditioning, treatment, and order fulfillment activities.
• Perform facility housekeeping, maintenance, and general labor duties, including cleaning warehouses, bins, equipment, and surrounding grounds.
• Work collaboratively with team members to support efficient site operations.
• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and training requirements.
• Perform miscellaneous duties, special projects, and other assigned responsibilities.

Typical Education

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience

• Agriculture, warehouse, grain handling, manufacturing, or general labor experience preferred; experience is not required.
• Forklift experience preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Ability to regularly lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to climb ladders and enter grain bins, silos, and other confined spaces safely.
• Ability to work in a physically demanding agricultural environment.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Commitment to safety and quality.
