What You'll Do
As a Class 1 Truck Driver, you will:
- Safely transport and deliver products and materials in liquid, bulk, or packaged form.
- Adhere to all DOT, FMCSA, state, local, and company safety regulations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Accurately complete electronic logs and required transportation documentation.
- Load, haul, and unload products while maximizing safety and operational efficiency.
- Navigate a variety of road, weather, and operating conditions with confidence and professionalism.
- Back, maneuver, and position equipment in tight spaces and at customer locations.
- Monitor vehicle conditions including tires, brakes, lights, fuel, oil, and other essential systems.
- Coordinate scheduled maintenance and promptly report equipment concerns.
- Participate in driver training and development programs as required.
- Represent the company in a professional manner when interacting with customers, vendors, and coworkers.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with appropriate endorsements.
- Current DOT Medical Certification.
- Ability to meet all DOT qualification requirements.
- Ability to accurately and timely complete transportation and regulatory documentation.
- Must be at least 21 years of age for interstate driving, or 18 years of age for intrastate driving positions.
Preferred Experience
- One (1) or more years of Commercial Class A driving experience.
- Demonstrated ability to safely operate commercial vehicles in challenging weather conditions, including snow, ice, wind, rain, and reduced visibility.
- Experience installing, removing, and using tire chains in adverse weather conditions.
- Strong safety record and commitment to regulatory compliance.

Education
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Completion of a CDL training program or equivalent experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Sit for extended periods while operating commercial vehicles.
- Frequently use hands and arms to operate vehicle controls and equipment.
- Occasionally stand, walk, bend, stoop, and climb.
- Connect and disconnect trailers, air lines, and related equipment.
- Climb in and out of trucks and trailers safely.
- Frequently lift and move up to 25 pounds.
- Maintain the visual acuity necessary to safely operate commercial motor vehicles.

Work Environment
Drivers work in a variety of indoor and outdoor environments and weather conditions throughout the year. The role may involve exposure to:

- Dust, vibration, fumes, and varying noise levels.
