Potato Harvest Support (Burbank, WA)

Summary

We’re looking for seasonal team members to support our potato harvest operations in the potato shed. In this role, you’ll help move, sort, and handle potatoes as they come in from the field, playing an important part in keeping harvest operations running efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Sort, inspect, and remove debris or defects from incoming potatoes
• Assist with moving potatoes through conveyors and storage processes within the shed
• Support unloading and handling of potatoes as they arrive from the field
• Maintain a clean and organized work area throughout the shift
• Communicate with team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
• Follow all safety procedures while working around equipment and in a fast-paced environment
• Assist with additional tasks as needed to support harvest operations

Typical Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred

Relevant Experience

• Prior experience in general labor, general farming operations, warehouse, or production work preferred
• Experience working in a fast-paced or team-oriented environment preferred
• Experience working around equipment or in an industrial setting is a plus

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time throughout the workday
• Able to perform repetitive tasks, including lifting, sorting, and moving product
• Comfortable working in a potato shed environment, including exposure to dust, noise, varying temperatures and fast-paced environments
• Able to work well with others as part of a team
• Reliable attendance and ability to arrive on time for scheduled shifts
