Farm Labor (Burbank, WA)

Summary

The Farm Laborer supports daily farm operations by performing a variety of tasks related to the handling and preparation of agricultural products.

Key Responsibilities

• Assists with building maintenance such as painting, cleaning, etc.
• Assists with irrigation equipment.
• Light equipment operation.
• Other duties as assigned

Typical Education

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Relevant Experience

• Prior experience in general farming operations.
• 1 year – agricultural, packaging or labor experience is preferred

Requirements

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on business needs.
• Consistent and reliable attendance, including arriving on time for all scheduled shifts.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
• Ability to write simple correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one situations to employees and managers of the organization.

Reasoning Ability

• Ability to apply commonsense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
