Tax Intern

Summary
This role will provide support to the tax department.
Key Responsibilities
- Gain experience in a fast paced working environment while supporting the department
- Assist tax department staff with various tax filings including income, sales and use, and property tax
- Research tax law and communicate finding to supervisors and customers
- Provide support to tax department staff on various routine tasks
Typical Education
- Pursuing a bachelor’s degree from 4-year college or university
- Strong academic record (suggested minimum 3.0 GPA), with a bachelor’s degree emphasis in Accounting

Incumbents at this level are in a learning process. Detailed instructions are provided for work assignments. Work is routinely checked and supervisor is readily available to answer questions. Immediate supervision.
