Summary
The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for developing and executing strategic recruiting efforts to attract top talent for Simplot. This role partners closely with hiring leaders and HR teams to understand business needs, develop effective talent acquisition strategies, and deliver an exceptional candidate and stakeholder experience throughout the hiring process.
This role focuses on full-cycle recruitment for mid-level through senior-level salaried positions across a broad range of professional disciplines. Typical searches may include Finance & Accounting, Procurement, Information Technology, Sales, Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, Operations Support, Manufacturing Leadership, and other professional and leadership functions. The Talent Acquisition Partner serves as a trusted advisor to business leaders, leveraging market insights, sourcing strategies, talent mapping, and recruiting best practices to identify, attract, and secure high-quality talent.
Based at Simplot Headquarters in downtown Boise, Idaho, this is a fully in-office role requiring on-site presence five days per week. The individual will work closely with business leaders, HR partners, and Talent Acquisition team members through regular face-to-face collaboration.

The role operates as an individual contributor while collaborating closely with hiring leaders, HR partners, and the broader Talent Acquisition team to support organizational growth and workforce planning initiatives.
Responsibilities include managing the full recruitment lifecycle, including intake and workforce planning discussions, candidate sourcing and engagement, assessment and selection, interview management, offer development and negotiation, and onboarding support. Success in this role requires strong business acumen, consultative partnership skills, effective stakeholder management, and the ability to deliver talent solutions that meet both immediate hiring needs and long-term business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with Managers, HR, and business leaders to successfully manage the end-to-end recruiting process across a variety of salaried and professional positions.
- Build strong relationships with Hiring Managers to understand their workforce needs and serve as a trusted advisor throughout the hiring process.
- Develop and execute recruiting strategies to attract top talent across commercial, sales, supply chain, operations support, finance, engineering, IT, and other business functions.
- Effectively manage internal and external candidates while delivering a positive and professional candidate experience.
- Educate, coach, and train leaders and stakeholders on recruiting best practices, talent market conditions, and selection processes.
- Identify and support continuous improvement initiatives across the Talent Acquisition function.
- Build and manage talent pipelines to support current and future hiring needs across multiple business groups and locations.
- Promote the organization and career opportunities through effective sourcing, networking, and employer branding activities.
- Identify, share, and implement talent acquisition best practices that improve efficiency, quality, and candidate outcomes.
- Participate in developing key recruiting processes and delivering consistent talent acquisition practices while maintaining flexibility to meet evolving business needs.
- Leverage technology, recruiting tools, labor market data, and analytics to stay informed on market trends and best practices.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition team members to support enterprise-wide recruiting initiatives and hiring priorities.
- Provide guidance and support to Talent Coordinators and other recruiting partners as appropriate.
Typical Education
- Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
Relevant Experience
- 4+ years of full-cycle recruiting experience.
- Experience recruiting professional, commercial, sales, supply chain, finance, engineering, IT, operations support, or related business roles preferred.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (SAP SuccessFactors preferred).
- Experience sourcing and engaging passive candidates.
- Strong communication, relationship-building, organization, and business acumen skills.
- Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple searches across various business functions and geographic locations
