Senior Customer Sales Support Coordinator

Summary

The Senior Customer Sales Support Coordinator plays a key role in partnering with our sales team, as they manage multiple order and logistics processes across diverse business lines (Retail, Feed, Industrial, etc.). This role focuses on executing cross-functional coordination, resolving escalated customer and sales issues, and supporting operational efficiency, ensuring timely product delivery through intermediate-level systems. As a Senior Customer Sales Support Coordinator the level of problem solving is intermediate, there will be times where they need to work independently to solve customer and sales issues which have a direct impact and outcome on earnings. They need to think independently and can reason and assess options. For more complex (advanced) items these individuals have resources on the team to go to.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and own interaction with internal/external customers, from initial point of contact, through to resolution to include order processing, coordinating inventory across warehouse locations and troubleshoot logistics issues.
  • Partner with Account Sales Managers on pricing, product distribution, and inventory prioritization ensuring the highest level of service delivery.
  • Monitor and reconcile data through weekly/monthly reports (SPA status, rebates, forecasts, aging orders).
  • Contribute to process improvement and system enhancement projects as assigned.

Typical Education

  • Associate's degree (AA or equivalent)
  • 3+ years related experience and/or training

Relevant Experience

Knowledge Requirements

  • Order Systems & EDI: Intermediate understanding of JDE, Simplot Connect, and electronic order flows (OR any related experience and/or tools in inventory records will be considered)
  • Product & Inventory Knowledge: Intermediate familiarity with SKUs, product applications, and naming conventions.
  • Transportation & Logistics Coordination: Intermediate scheduling and coordination capabilities.
  • Documentation & Account Management: Intermediate handling of COAs, BOLs, invoices, and customs forms.
  • Communication Tools: Advanced proficiency in managing multiple inboxes and distribution channels.
