Summary
As part of the AgriBusiness Technology Program, the ERP Business Process Lead drives a culture of process improvement and operational excellence. This role partners closely with technical teams, including Technology & Data Science (T&DS), and business stakeholders to define, design, and deliver technology-enabled solutions that support AgriBusiness strategies and goals. The position serves as a key participant in business-driven technology projects, representing functional expertise and offering holistic perspectives on process interrelationships across AgriBusiness.
The ERP Business Process Lead is instrumental in developing common processes, materials, and training, and in fostering a culture of accountability, communication, and continuous improvement. This individual contributor role is central to the mission of the AB Technology Program: delivering technology work that supports business transformation, innovation, and measurable value for end users.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with technical teams and business SMEs to review, document, and map current and future processes, ensuring standardization and alignment across AgriBusiness.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings with stakeholders to define business needs and translate into actionable solutions to ensure benefits are fully realized by end users.
- Collaborate with the project teams and technical partners to develop action plans for technology conversion, including communication and training for end users.
- Analyze business processes across all functional areas to identify inefficiencies, understand interdependencies enabled by technology, and recommend best practices for future-state operations.
- Drive strategic, operational, and organizational initiatives by providing insights through analytics and fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Champion cross-functional collaboration to ensure technology projects are aligned with business priorities and deliver measurable benefits.
Typical Education
Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from a four-year college or university.
Relevant Experience
- 5-8 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, ERP implementation or other relevant experience required.
- Demonstrated experience implementing and configuring technical solutions and process improvement initiatives, including requirements gathering, solution design, testing, and end-user support.
- Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and collaborate with IT for successful solution deployment.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Strong cross-functional business understanding and ability to quickly grasp processes outside of direct experience.
- Proven ability to influence decision-making across groups and incorporate best practices into future-state processes.
- Experience balancing multiple priorities and demands in a fast-paced environment.
- Demonstrated partnership skills with both technical and non-technical teams, including senior leadership, with a focus on informing, influencing, and relationship building.
- Self-motivated and results-oriented, able to deliver measurable results amid ambiguity.
