Key Responsibilities

Simplot Australia are seeking applicants for seasonal casual opportunities at our Spreyton based storage facility.

Reporting to the Field Service Supervisor, these seasonal roles will commence asap and run through until approx late July 2024, whilst working across a Monday to Sunday roster.

  • Casual rates of $32.82 p/h (inclusive of 25% casual loading)
  • Fully supplied uniform
  • Boots & PPE provided
  • Training provided in role

What You Will Do


  • Safely transport product between our production areas and cold stores
  • Operate within our cold store stacking bins of product
  • Perform pre-start checks on forklift equipment
  • Adhere to site safety and operational policies whilst contributing to continuous improvement within our processes

About You


  • Possess a 100% commitment to safety in the workplace
  • Prior experience within a production role or food processing is beneficial but not essential
  • Ability & willingness to work over a 7-day work week and to be adaptable to operational needs at short notice
  • Available to start asap and work for the duration of our potato season
  • Ability to undertake repetitive manual handling tasks whilst standing for long periods of time
  • Possess a strong work ethic and display strong and positive communication skills
  • Willingness to undergo aptitude testing assessments as part of recruitment processes (completed in house).
  • Be willing to undertake a full pre-employment medical (incl. urine-based D&A screening)
