Summary
This role’s primary responsibility is to operate trucks and deliver various products in & around the Simplot Plant.
*Important Note* We currently have 4 vacancies available—2 for the Day Shift & 2 for the Night Shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Haul, load, and handle products as assigned while maintaining efficiencies, such as fuel and best hauling and loading practices
- Inspects truck for defects before, during, and after trips and submits report indicating truck condition
- Must be able to back up and maneuver in and around tight areas
- Maintains electronic driver log according to DOT regulations
- Regularly inspects truck equipment and supplies such as tires, lights, brakes, fuel, oil, and water
Typical Education
- High School Diploma or General Education (GED)
- CDL Truck Driver school
Relevant Experience
- 1+ years of related experience and/or training
Required Certifications
- Must have a valid Class A CDL with proper endorsements and a valid DOT Medical Certification
