Sales Support Representative - Newcastle Territory

Summary

A great opportunity exists for an experienced Sales Representative to retain and grow sales in Newcastle and Newcastle regions on a permanent part-time basis (18 hours per week). In this role, you would be responsible for maximising sales of Simplot's iconic branded products such as Birdseye, John West, Edgell and Leggos, across  the areas of Cessnock, Maitland, Mt Hutton, Rutherford, Edgeworth and Warners Bay. Achieving this through; store level customer selling, execution of display builds for branded promotional drives, executing customer negotiated planograms across all categories, speed to market New Line distribution with the objective of retaining and growing market share distribution and maintaining customer relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Route to Market planning of territory to maintain an effective call rate.
  • Ensuring maximum possible distribution gains for new and existing products.
  • Ensuring full distribution of graded Simplot Australia Pty Limited products.Maximising the store condition of our products and categories through improved position and shelf space based on market share and stock weight for promotions.
  • Obtaining maximum exposure of Company products through effective displays, prime locations and stock weight to maximise results.
  • In store compliance recording.Sharing territory store activities including competitors.Advising head office of any promotional non-support.
Relevant Experience

This role will suit a highly motivated self-starter with existing Sales experience. Experience in an FMCG environment would be beneficial but is not essential.  Perhaps you are a recent Business Graduate with an outgoing attitude, and the ability to work within an agile and changing environment. You will also have excellent attention to detail, be highly organised, resilient and display strong interpersonal skills.
