About the Role

We're looking for an experienced APAC Talent and Culture Manager to join our Talent team. The APAC Talent and Culture Manager plays a significant role in the design, development, and implementation of our Talent and Culture programs from the ground up. Key initiatives and strategies include APAC Talent Acquisition Leadership, Talent Management and Succession Planning strategies, Performance and Goals, Employee Experience, and Diversity and Inclusion that help drive business performance. This role is aligned to the Global Talent & Culture COE and is responsible for partnering with APAC key stakeholders to ensure local execution of global programs.  Current stakeholders within Simplot APAC include China, Japan, India, Korea, Malaysia, and Australia, and New Zealand. 

Key Deliverables
  • Drive effective global talent management strategies and processes across Simplot APAC through close partnership with APAC HR business leaders, and Global Communities of Expertise (COEs)
  • Partner closely with APAC HR community to inform, align, support, and engage them in the full talent and succession process and execution
  • Ensure consistent and effective internal mobility strategies are developed, in consultation with appropriate business leaders
  • Manage APAC talent metrics, workforce planning analysis, dashboards and reporting requirements including talent reviews and succession planning outcomes
  • Drive global framework for performance development and goal management initiatives throughout APAC and support activities and communications to ensure framework is embraced by leaders and employees
  • Lead and project manage APAC Employee Engagement activities in alignment with the Global Voice Your View engagement strategy.  Key activities include vendor management, survey tool administration, and supporting HR community and business leaders on comprehensive result analysis, action planning, and presentation tools.
  • Partner with Global Talent & Culture COE to build global, regional and team groups to turn key insights into action items.
  • Partner with business leaders to develop, champion and embed a D&I strategy throughout APAC that aligns to Simplot Global D&I vision and strategy.
  • Lead and support APAC programs that enhance our ability to attract and retain top talent and build inclusive, high performing teams.
  • Embrace and embed best practice methodologies, tools, and technology to source top talent throughout APAC
  • Work closely with senior leaders, team leads, and individual contributors to learn all areas of the business, build credibility and effectively influence the understanding and mindset necessary to support global talent mobility and promote OneSimplot 

 

About You

To be successful in this role, you will be an experienced Talent Manager with a strong focus on leading and developing large-scale talent programs.  Previous HR business partner and people leadership experience working with numerous stakeholders within a large complex organization is highly recommended. 

 

Excellent facilitator and communicating skills, written and verbal; ability to prepare metrics and dashboards, influence and communicate effectively to management (including presentations and facilitation at the BOM level) and ability to get buy-in from HR partners, business groups, are essential skills for this role.
