About our role

 

We now have a fantastic opportunity for a Senior FP&A Analyst to join our dynamic and growing business. Reporting to the FP&A Manager, you will be an integral player to support the Enterprise Planning and Reporting function with a focus on budgeting, forecasting and management reporting. This will include being responsible for the successful functioning, optimisation and administration of the Enterprise Performance Management (EPM) application (Axiom) and related processes to support business-critical planning and reporting.  Provide analysis of financial data and performance reporting to support effective management and the strategic decision making process across the organisation.

What will you do

 

  • Contribute to the development of budget and periodic forecast updates
  • Development of budgeting and forecasting presentations for senior executive management and board review
  • Preparation of the monthly reporting package to senior executive management, tracking financial performance of actuals versus budget and forecast
  • Load and complete the reconciliation of budgets and forecasts in multiple systems 
  • Provide financial analysis across the group financial results (P&L and Balance Sheet)
  • Implement efficient and effective financial planning and reporting processes
  • Key finance support for FP&A strategic projects providing financial analysis and modelling as required
  • Provide value adding business partnering to finance teams
  • Provide internal customers with information and advice on financial and other business-related issues, leading to improved financial awareness and knowledge for internal customers

What will you bring?

 

  • Proven experience in a similar role in Financial Planning & Analysis 
  • Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants (CA) or a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and draw meaningful insights
  • Excellent presentation and visualisation skills (Story telling)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to meet deadlines and influence others to meet deadlines
  • Experience with business budgeting, planning and forecasting
  • Experience with financial modelling and analysis
  • Intermediate to advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Excel and Powerpoint
  • Knowledge of financial systems (SAP/JDE) and proficiency in BI tools (Power BI/Axiom) preferable but not essential
