About our role

 

  • Establish, manage and drive continuous improvement and compliance to our standards
  • Set expectations to ensure efficiency in meeting defined regulatory, customer and business outcomes for safe consistent products

What will you do

 

  • Lead the development and continuous improvements of SAPL Food safety and Quality standards
  • Lead the Quality Systems Subsystem
  • Oversee and improve the central document management system and Systems Super User function
  • Actively participate on the policies and procedures committee
  • Oversee and participate in effective relationships with external indirect providers such as certifying bodies and systems providers
  • Maintain and continuously improve our systems and procedures to minimize product related risk exposure.
  • Oversee the positive release process to minimize the risk of unsafe and poor quality products being released to the market
  • Collate and develop reports regarding product quality status for the business. Measured by accurate information provided within required time lines
  • Integrate and communicate customer requirements (new and changes) into the SAPL standards
  • Manage Customer expectations for the HALAL program across all sites and ensure business requirements are met in a timely manner, including export opportunities

About you

 

  • Significant experience leading quality systems
  • Excellent collaboration and relationship building skills
  • Proven leadership experience and people management responsibilities
  • A clear and partnering style of communication both in written and spoken form.
  • Experience and knowledge of emerging requirements in GFSI standards; SQF, Global GAP
  • A growth mindset for seeking innovative and collaboration solutions to meet both consumer and customer needs
