Summary
Performs routine clerical duties in accordance with policies and procedures to timely and accurately complete shipping request. This includes the following: photocopying, compiling records, filing, documenting shipping requests, completed request, documenting needed shipping paperwork. Operate computerized inventory system daily to load outbound trucks with product, communicating with drivers and operation personnel as necessary. Verifies contract availability and applies weights to open contracts. Provides drivers with outbound scale ticket and generates Bill of Lading. Process driver payroll. Data entry, invoicing and billing of critical information.
Typical Education
High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
Relevant Experience
At least 2 years of experience, exceptional communication skills and the ability to work with many different personalities, ability to multitask, and must be detail oriented.
