Provides the day to day maintenance of the mill, facilities and grounds to promote the effective and efficient use of the business resources.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operates equipment, hand tools and power tools for the repair of the mill, fabrication and general operations. 
  • Maintain and repair equipment to ensure the facility runs smoothly and efficiently.
  • Performs other duties as assigned by the Maintenance Supervisor

Typical Education

High School Diploma or GED

Relevant Experience

  • Knowledge of augers, rollers and grain handling is a plus
  • Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations

Required Certifications

  • Must have valid driver's license
  • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and reach with hands and arms
  • The employee is frequently required to sit, climb and/or balance
  • The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move more than 100 pounds
  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include distance vision, peripheral vision and depth perception
  • While performing the duties of this jo, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually very loud.
