- Promotes and sells company products to new and existing accounts through direct customer contacts within assigned geographic region of CA/AZ/NV.  

- Provides customers with information on new and existing products, educate and train on these products, works closely with our customer service team regarding delivery and service, and brings pricing to the market.  

- Continually identifies prospective customers and develops new accounts. 

- Compiles information on competitors’ products and sales practices.  

- Manages territory while working closely with leadership and sales team while independently planning and organizes work, schedules sales calls, and submits reports of sales activities

Key Responsibilities


- Sell and steward identified Simplot products within market territory.  

- Researches, analyzes, and reports on competitors’ products and sales practices to senior sales members. 

- This position will be expected to gather, analyze and report on market intelligence and position products responsibly.  

- Works primarily within assigned geographic territory to increase sales and client base.  

- Manages moderately complex sales accounts and transactions.  

- Works both collaboratively and independently to develop new sales accounts within and beyond designated sales territory.


Typical Education

- Bachelor's Degree from 4-year college/university or extensive industry knowledge and experience considered. 

Relevant Experience

- Five plus years related experience and/or training. Incumbents at this level typically possess a thorough knowledge of the company, its customers, its products and their uses.  

- Distinguishing Features: Individuals at this level have minimal pricing authority but significant input into personal and Simplot Diversified Products goals and objectives.  

- Some involvement in activities and issues outside his or her own territory may be required.  

- This is a career level professional sales position.
