Looking for an application developer/engineer to join the Simplot IT Delivery Team responsible for the customization, development and global roll-out of SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) within Simplot.  Works with a small team to support and implement enhancements and new functionality as required across the Simplot organization.

The primary responsibility of this technical engineer position is to analyze requirements and designs, code, test, install and maintain SailPoint IIQ systems, programs, functions, services, and other related software components in response to enterprise needs of high complexity. The position provides technical leadership, guidance, and mentoring to others in areas of Identity Access Management (IAM) and Identity Governance and Administration (IGA).    Training available to help bridge any knowledge gaps with this position.

Knowledge of Java and in Microsoft Azure DevOps, IT Security and/or corporate back office systems a plus. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and analyze IIQ requirements documents
  • Prepare technical design options, consult with others across Simplot on options and strategies
  • Design/develop system, application and program code according to business and technical requirements
  • Code and unit test solutions independently or as part of a development team
  • Development of process and data integration between SailPoint IIQ and other internal or external systems
  • Implement technical changes for the agreed upon solution. This includes gathering requirements for integration; managing and reviewing technical specifications to completion; testing interfaces with recipients - unit test and end-to-end integrations.
  • Take an active role in delivering solutions with minimal supervision and for other reasonable tasks as given by supervisor or manager.
  • Ensure integration activities and impacts on users are communicated in effective and timely manner to all impacted parties.
  • Track all integration/system set-up issues and resolving support incidents.
  • IIQ specification and code documentation
  • Follow and ensure of the execution of all appropriate documentation, testing, technical design, quality assurance and management of change requirements.
  • Ensure process and procedures for IAM integration activities are documented and stored centrally
  • On-going Level 4 support
  • Participate in quality assurance and testing to achieve quality objectives
  • Work closely with business process owners and technical team to support testing and validation of system code and integrations
  • Work with IAM team to provide application and integration troubleshooting support for systems issue resolution, including monitoring scheduled application interfaces ensuring data integrity.
  • Maintain and enhance knowledge of the business operations and the strategic IAM imperatives of Simplot
Typical Education
  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Computer Science or related discipline from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
  • 5+ years related experience and/or training
  • Experience with Identity Access Management concepts and solutions desired
  • 5 or more years of development / coding experience in Java and XML desired
  • SailPoint IIQ Development experience desired
  • IIQ Beanshell/Java experience desired
  • Understands API development and security protocols
  • Has knowledge and background of authentication services
  • Understand business requirements, use cases, and testing
  • Understanding of Linux and SQL Server desired
  • Microsoft Azure DevOps and/or Git repository and deployment knowledge desired
  • Working authentication experience with Microsoft Azure Active Directory integration is a big plus
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivating and be able to plan Technical teamwork
  • Adheres to all standards, policies and systems as appropriate
  • Combination of education, training and/or experience will be considered for this position
