Summary

The Senior Manager Organizational Change Management is responsible for leading Organizational Change Management activities for identified and assigned strategic programs and One Simplot transformation initiatives.  This role focuses on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

 

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Change Management – strategy and plans

  • Lead organizational change for critical programs prioritized by the Enterprise Transformation Team (known as Strategic Programs or One Simplot projects) by applying a structured change approach and methodology for managing the people side of change
  • Develop customized OCM strategies, plans and timelines and ensure coordination of projects within Strategic Programs
  • Develop plans that deliver adoption, utilization and proficiency with the change/transformation. 
  • Identify and gain stakeholder buy-in to required OCM project resources, as required, across communications, training and deployment activities.  Ensure clarity on roles and expectations

Organizational Change Management - execution

  • Socialize and execute against change management plans
  • Support the execution of plans by managers, business leaders and project team members
  • Create and manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of change

Project team leadership

  • Lead the coordination of an OCM team for assigned program/project that may include Simplot employees, consultants or third-party resources

Coach and build change capabilities across Simplot

  • Coach and align leaders and managers in understanding, supporting and leading change
  • Provide direct support and coaching to enable our managers to help their direct reports through change
  • Consult and coach project team members to build their change capability by developing and executing OCM plans for projects not resourced by the OCM team
  • Help to develop change capabilities in our leaders and employees
  • Support the development of the Organizational Transformation team through thought leadership in best / current transformation and OCM practices
Typical Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

10+ years related experience and/or training

Required Certifications

Prosci Certification (desirable)

Other Information
  • Background and proven experience in change management is critical to this role
