Senior Account Manager Crop Care - CA/AZ/NV

Summary

The Senior Account Manager will take sales ownership of the Innvictis Crop Care product portfolio and work to drive growth and develop strategy and programs in their area or geography.  This strategy development work is done in partnership with the various business unit stakeholders and includes product placement and promotion, new product development, and product support for the portfolio.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a specific portfolio of products within a specified retail business unit or division and work with the broader team to develop & launch new products within the portfolio.

  • Responsible for a budgeted sales and GM number as well as key launch product success and penetration.

  • Assist in pricing and positioning of Innvictis brands and develop local programs that drive the adoption of Innvictis products

  • Forecast production needs, demand shifts and timing monthly. 

  • Be a voice for what is happening in the field

  • Work with the SGS sales locations and procurement to manage any product quality issues

  • Train within the Innvictis 360 platform and through grower/SGS training seminars.  >50% travel expected.

Typical Education
Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university
Relevant Experience
5+ years related experience and/or training
Required Certifications

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements.
  • Knowledge/experience in a commercial/procurement role.
  • Knowledge working in business or functional unit supported by the category.
  • High degree of industry experience in the specific category areas.
  • Good sales, presentation, negotiation and market data/analysis skills.
