SAP Source to Pay Analyst

Summary

Simplot is on a transformational journey focused on delivering value to our customers now and in the future. This journey is based on a “Green-Field” approach to implementing SAP S4/HANA at the core enabler for this transformation.  This SAP Practice at Simplot is responsible for creating solutions within the new S4/HANA landscape to support our company’s dynamic global needs.  Each team member will contribute to building Solutions by utilizing the vast array of SAP products and SAP extensions to support our business objectives.  We are currently looking for innovative and driven Functional Analysts to join the existing team and contribute to all future business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes across a wide range of diverse business units and utilize existing knowledge of SAP solutions that would support those processes.  This will include prototyping new solutions, process enablers, and even drive significant process transformations.
• Drive development of solutions that leverage the SAP suite and also integrated third party solutions where the Food and Agriculture industry does not have standard solutions in place.
• Participate and contribute to daily stand-up meetings with a small agile development team in a quest to rapidly deploy new solutions on the S4 platform. 
• Utilize agile methodologies for continuous delivery of solutions.  Rapid prototyping and  validation of solutions with business stakeholders will be required.
• Design, configure, and test developed solutions and collaborate with agile team peers on the scope of the solution.
• Deliver and present Prototype Solutions in anticipation of their current/future utilization.
• Document solutions and provide functional and technical presentations to peers as well as solution architects within the IT organization to showcase solution capabilities.
• Participate in continuous discovery of new solutions that will utilize the SAP Product Suite already procured by Simplot, in addition to adjoining solutions to deliver a value proposition.

Typical Education

Relevant Experience

• 5+ Years of proven experience as an SAP Functional Analyst or IT Business Analyst in relation to Source to Pay processes and underlying SAP capabilities is required.
• Proven knowledge of the SAP Fiori elements and how to drive standardization and re-utilization of elements in a quest to develop a common UX repository is desired.
• S/4HANA experience is desired (1809,1909,2020).
• Understanding of Agile methodologies such as Scrum and Kanban is preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and verbal and written communication skills is required.
• Good understanding of standards, guidelines, and best practices in SAP configuration and development is required.
