Summary
The Regional Talent Acquisition Lead is a key role within the Global Talent Team. You will lead a team of experienced recruiters within the North American region, supporting food manufacturing locations. In this player/coach role, you will be responsible for sourcing, attracting, and evaluating top-tier candidates for various positions within the organization. In addition, you will have the opportunity to optimize end-to-end recruitment processes, as well as partner with key business stakeholders. The role requires a blend of strategic thinking, interpersonal skills, and a deep understanding of the company's values, culture, and industry.
Key Responsibilities
Candidate Sourcing and Engagement:
- Utilize various sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, networking, and referrals, to identify and engage potential candidates.
- Maintain a strong pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future job openings.
- Craft compelling job descriptions and advertisements to attract suitable candidates.
Leadership and Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists.
- Set performance goals, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance reviews.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team culture that encourages innovation and continuous improvement.
Recruitment Strategy:
- Develop and implement comprehensive recruitment strategies aligned with the organization's growth plans and talent needs for your areas of focus (regional and/or division focused)
- Collaborate with senior management and HR to understand workforce requirements and establish hiring targets.
- Identify and implement creative sourcing methods to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with hiring managers and department heads to understand their staffing needs and align recruitment efforts with business goals.
- Provide guidance to hiring teams on best practices for interviewing, candidate evaluation, and selection.
Additional Responsibilities
Process Development:
- Optimize end-to-end recruitment processes, from requisition creation to onboarding, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
- Establish clear guidelines for candidate assessment, interviewing, and selection, promoting a positive candidate experience.
Data-Driven Insights:
- Utilize recruitment metrics and data analytics to monitor and report on recruitment performance, identifying areas for improvement.
- Make data-driven recommendations to optimize recruitment strategies and improve overall talent acquisition outcomes.
Employer Branding:
- Partner with the Marketing, Communications, and Talent Programs teams to enhance the organization's employer brand and employee value proposition.
- Leverage social media, job boards, and other platforms to effectively showcase the company culture and opportunities.
Candidate Experience:
- Ensure a seamless and positive candidate journey from initial contact through offer acceptance and onboarding.
- Act as a point of contact for candidates, addressing inquiries and concerns to enhance candidate satisfaction.
Typical Education
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Relevant Experience
- 6 or more years of experience in talent acquisition, including a proven track record of leading and managing recruitment teams.
- Experience in recruiting for manufacturing plants or high-volume environments is highly preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of recruitment best practices, candidate sourcing techniques, and employment regulations.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships across various levels of the organization.
- Experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other HR technology tools.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to derive insights from recruitment data.
- Exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
