The Procurement Enablement Manager will oversee the management of the Enablement Team, developing the methods to govern the procurement process, systems, and tools across all business groups and regions. This includes metrics, training, and reporting on procurement process health and performance.  Also, communicates global procurement strategies and progress while maintaining the integrity of the procurement process and ROI.


This position is responsible for enabling S2P activities by executing and leading in 3 mission critical areas: procurement program management, procurement portfolio management, and procurement governance.

Key Responsibilities

Program Management This role oversees the planning, implementation, support, project leadership, and training development for complex procurement IT tool and process implementation projects.   This role will be required to work with functional leaders inside & outside of procurement to ensure that up & down stream processes are integrated into the design as procurement develops and rolls out its new tools and process.

Driving continuous improvement through ongoing simplification and effective communication will be key.   The role reviews and improves processes in all areas of procurement, provides counsel on best-in-class procurement frameworks and methodologies, and leverages state of the art procurement tools to drive efficiency and savings. 

Portfolio Management:   This position will oversee all procurement portfolio management services:  Resource balancing, YoY ROI assessment, complexity & forecast modeling, portfolio tool development, tracking and reporting.  The role is heavy in developing and providing analytics regarding spend, risk, and other procurement related metrics.  This position leads the development of training materials and strategies for all functional areas of procurement. 

Procurement Governance  To maintain the integrity of the procurement process and ROI, this role will work directly with Business Unit VPs of finance to define and validate project savings, calculations, and claims.  This position works along finance in developing new value streams withing procurement and aides in cash optimization efforts. 

Other Responsibilities:

  • Develops, directs, and implements all enablement strategies, activities, and services such as process, policy, people, systems, and operations.
  • Provides strategy, recommendations, and business cases for all global procurement solutions to responsible management and impacted stakeholders relating to the effectiveness of process/systems improvements.
  • Networks with internal and external peers to identify best practices and define opportunities to solve business problems by leveraging technology, systematic workflow, or process improvements.
  • Oversee education strategy and training delivery as provided by the enablement team to procurement team members on effective use of systems, databases analysis and collaboration tools.
  • Leads focus and feedback groups across the organization and with the IT team to develop systems roadmap and ensure adoption, utilization, and ROI for procurement systems.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) in Supply Chain Management, Finance, IT or Business related field.

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum 8 years Program & Project Management experience, or equivalent
  • Knowledge or experience with procurement systems and operations
  • Experience in MS Power BI and analytics tools
