Summary

The Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead is responsible for implementing OCM activities and deliverables for identified and assigned strategic projects and One Simplot transformation initiatives.  This role focuses on the people side of change including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures.

 

Key Responsibilities

Organizational Change Management – strategy and plans
•    Develop and execute OCM plans for assigned projects, ensuring full coordination with project plan and clearly defining dependencies, risk and critical paths.  
•    Develop OCM project plans based on accurate understanding of the details of the change and groups being impacted by the change. Develop plans that deliver adoption, utilization and proficiency with the change/transformation.  This includes, but is not limited to, sponsorship roadmap, readiness plan, communications plan, change network approach, training plan etc.
•    Consult and advise project teams on OCM strategies and plans and help develop change capability within the Enterprise Transformation Team owned projects
Organizational Change Management - execution
•    Socialize and execute against change management plans 
•    Extracts insight from broad-based survey data and communication feedback loop(s) to assess organization’s willingness and ability to adopt required change
•    Lead and implement change networks aligned to assigned projects
•    Support the execution of plans by managers, business leaders and project team members
•    Manage measurement systems to track adoption, utilization and proficiency of change

Coach and build change capabilities across Simplot 
•    Coach and align leaders and managers in understanding, supporting and leading change
•    Provide direct support and coaching to enable our managers to help their direct reports through change
•    Help to develop change capabilities in our leaders and employees so that we build a change champion culture
•    Consult and help develop OCM capabilities across ETT project team members
•    Actively participate in the development of the Organizational Transformation team through keeping abreast of best practices, actively participating in team development and helping to establish processes, tools and ways of working

Typical Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

5+ years related experience and/or training

Required Certifications

Prosci Certification (desirable)

Other Information

Excellent organizational, planning, coordination and project management skills essential.

Ability to work with all levels within an organization and possess strong executive presence.

Prior OCM experience required.
