MuleSoft Anypoint Engineer

Summary

This valued team member would design, develop, and support technical solutions using the MuleSoft Anypoint platform. They would work closely with business teams and technical teams to implement the appropriate solutions as well as train and evangelize the Anypoint platform to grow the developer base. This role will provide technical leadership on building solutions in the platform and contribute to the technical documentation for implementations, standards, and practices. 

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and configure solutions, enhancements and fixes to technologies supporting the business. 
• Work as a team member in an Agile workflow. 
• Build and maintain effective internal and external partnerships with customers and vendors to ensure a high level of application service delivery. 
• Drive knowledge sharing between teams to continually improve our overall knowledge base. 
• Undertake problem and root cause analysis to drive and deliver production system fixes and enhancements. 
• Manage production deployments with vendors, or internal IT Teams, to ensure timely resolution to defects and enhancements when required. 
• Perform unit testing of deployments in development environment to ensure minimal customer impacts. 
• Work as a member of a delivery team, on complex systems, to provide high quality and timely solutions. 
• Provide on-call support as assigned.

Required Experience

• 3+ years of experience developing solutions using MuleSoft Anypoint Platform. 

• Experience with Java development. 

• Experience with source control (Git preferred). 

• Willingness to participate in a learning culture where you contribute to leveraging new and existing technologies and work to educate the rest of the team. 

Preferred Certifications

MuleSoft Certifications 

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 5 years experience in Anypoint development and/or software development (a combination of education and experience will be considered) 

• Experience with cloud (Azure/AWS), CI/CD pipelines, IaC, source control, object oriented principles, common software design patterns, and software development best practices. 

• Experience in event-driven architecture, message-based architecture, containerization, and/or domain-driven design a plus.
