Summary

We are looking for a Marketing Manager, Digital and Content to join the Simplot Grower Solutions (SGS) Customer Experience Marketing Team in Boise, Idaho. This position plays a key role on the SGS Marketing Team, participating in the planning, execution, and optimization of SGS marketing efforts, and ultimately effectively connecting our brand with customers.

 

The Marketing Manager, Digital and Content is responsible for all digital marketing for SGS – including website design and management, social media, and digital advertising campaigns. Additionally, this role will develop market performance analytics to measure, analyze and optimize initiatives, SEO and editorial mix for continuous improvement and return on investment.

 

This role is also responsible for building and implementing content strategy for SGS – including blogs, email, marketing automation, articles, videos and other types of content aligned to engage with customers and meet business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leads, manages, and executes digital and content strategy for Simplot Grower Solutions and affiliated brands/platforms
  • Manages websites, social media accounts, marketing automation and other digital tools/platforms
  • Develops content for SGS and associated brands – including social media posts, videos, blogs and customer emails
  • Manages digital advertising campaigns and lead generation efforts
  • Builds and executes strategies to grow customer email opt-in list
  • Creates and manages internal and external landing pages, email campaigns, ABM efforts
  • Builds monthly and quarterly reporting to evaluate growth and effectiveness of digital marketing tactics
  • Works closely with outside services providers such as advertising agencies, research providers and fulfillment companies as needed.  
  • Conducts quarterly market visits within areas to drive alignment, understand the customer and validate marketing program effectiveness.
  • Build strong internal partnerships with AB Marketing, EHS&S, Regulatory, Legal and other key stakeholders to create synergies.

Typical Education

  • Bachelor’s degree from a 4 year college or university; or equivalent experience.

Relevant Experience

  • 5+ years of experience and/or training

Other Information

  • Agriculture experience and knowledge highly preferred
  • Experience with Pardot, Hootsuite, and SiteCore preferred
  • Knowledge of best practices in digital marketing and brand management strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated knowledge of marketing principles and strategy development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects
  • Strong interpersonal and written skills
  • Graphic design abilities a plus
  • Ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally and at all levels of the organization
  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered for meeting the minimum requirements.
