Summary

The Learning and Development Program Manager leads the development and ongoing support for all Food Group strategic learning & development programs designed to help improve organizational readiness across all functional areas and global geographies for the Food Group. The focus is on programs that are designed to address significant organizational gaps in business understanding and practical skills designed to support future business growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work with Leadership to develop and manage organizational readiness roadmap which will help identify organizational gaps in foundational knowledge for future growth, while creating a prioritized strategy for program design and implementation to close these gaps.
  • Working closely with Business/Functional Process Owners, provides oversight to all existing and future Food Group development programs to ensure targets are clearly articulated and achieved, and program framework is sustainable. This includes programs such as Business Education Program, Management Trainee Program, Advanced Manufacturing Leadership Training Program, Sales Representative Trainee Program, and Strategic Internship Program.
  • Works with Functional COEs and Optimization Team to ensure effective utilization of Learning Management System (LMS), Knowledge Management System and other program methods, processes and tools to support organizational readiness activities across the global Food Group.
  • Collaborates with Learning COE and Food Group Commercial and Operational Training teams to align educational objectives with training delivery strategies.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

  • Minimum of 6 years of experience, where solid foundational business knowledge has been developed.
  • Strong project management skills, with demonstrated experience managing multiple projects or programs simultaneously.
  • Strong business partnering skll swith the ability to influence action where direct authority of the resources may not be present.
