Industrial Engineer

Summary

This role supports efforts of the Food Group Engineering department by providing technical aid on Project development for new or existing processes, facilities, equipment, utilities and instrumentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Responsible for the preparation of the engineering documentation as Specifications for the bidding of equipment or materials supply, as well as the preparation and technical evaluation of offers and bidding documents.
• Responsible for preparing and gaining alignment on engineering proposals, feasibility studies and vendor/construction packages.
• Assesses and aligns with key stakeholders the feasibility and soundness of proposed engineering or equipment solutions.
• Leads and is accountable for the developments and evaluation of plans and success criteria (often by others) to ensure that project and/or system performance meets business objectives for a variety of projects and activities that are usually carried out by others.
• May lead the development of new or modified components, products, manufacturing processes, materials and equipment.
• Leads/guides teams in establishing the appropriate designs, engineering and execution processes.
• Responsible for leading the communication of project updates to senior management and key stakeholders.
• Coordinates with vendors and inside the team to ensure compliance with established deadlines and standards.
• Perform overall quality control of the works and regularly report on status of the tasks under his responsibility.
