Customer Solutions Manager

Summary

The Customer Solutions Manager is a critical role within the Global McDonald’s Account Team. This role leads the execution of both global and local market priority initiatives to support the team’s customer specific business plans.  They will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to create mutual value for internal and external stakeholders.  They will utilize data and information to deliver efficiencies and improve our ability to support the customer and optimize the execution of our account teams. This role will foster relationships internally and externally to ensure a deep internal understanding of the customer and successful execution of strategic priorities.  

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Plan Execution / Project Management
    • In alignment with the Business Unit (BU)  strategy and priorities, collaborate with sales leadership and account teams to develop and execute global and market specific customer business plans.
    • Apply deep understanding of Simplot’s end-to-end business, including internal and external supply chains, to influence and develop business relevant solutions to achieve BU business goals. 
    • Demonstrate strong ability to align and manage cross cross-functional teams, to include but not limited to Marketing, Sales Operations, Customer Service, Culinary, Quality & Innovation, Demand Planning, Production, and Logistics, to accomplish key initiatives and support day-to-day operations
  • Strong partnering skills with the ability to effectively influence peers and senior sales professionals
  • Leverage Data and Tool to inform Strategy Execution - Understand the customer journey and continually look for ways to optimize data, tools and processes to deliver efficiencies and improve the execution of account teams; to include CRM tools, customer related portals, KPIs, reporting, etc.
  • Customer Event Management - Support execution of account related events such as customer visits, charitable events, etc.
  • Account Relationship Management - Develop relationships and influence external customer contacts in related areas of responsibility to support account team execution.
     
Typical Education

Bachelor’s degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university

Relevant Experience

5+ years related experience and/or training

Required Certifications

Certification or active progress towards certification is preferred in one or more disciplines (e.g. PMI-PMP, Agile PMI-ACP, Lean Expert, Six Sigma Green Belt/Black Belt, etc.)

Other Information

•    5+ year experience of project management experience with Project Management Certification preferred
•    5+ years of Sales, Sales Operations, or related experience preferred
•    15% Travel (to include some limited global travel)
•    Proven organizational skills with demonstrated ability to effectively work across boundaries
•    Excellent presentation, facilitation and verbal and written communication skills 
•    Demonstrated ability to analyze data and turn into actionable business solutions
•    Interest and ability to move into a more senior sales leadership role, which would likely require geographic relocation
•    Proficiency using Microsoft Office programs and Sales Reporting Systems
