Summary
Intern Agronomy is part of the Plant Sciences research team and supports activities aimed toward improving agricultural crops. The work week would be a 5 day, 8 hour-per-day schedule, typically M - F.
Key Responsibilities
- Basic computer skills needed for data entry for statistical analysis.
- Assist with annual field projects (planting, data collection, harvest) under the supervision of the field manager.
- Assist with routine maintenance of agronomy supplies.
- Develop a personal project that will positively impact the agronomy team.
- Willingness to become certified and drive a forklift to move materials.
- Occasional overnight travel required.
- Able to lift at least 50 pounds.

Experience using statistics or ArcGIS preferred

Valid Driver's License
Other Information
Willingness to commute between Caldwell and Boise and occasionally other fields in eastern Idaho using a company vehicle.
