Summary

Provide high level technical and general accounting services in accordance with US Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (US GAAP). Unique position that will assist in implementing accounting automation technologies, administer our finance governance software, Blackline, and complete accounting tasks including journal entries and account reconciliations. Will help drive accounting optimization throughout the controllership by consulting with other accounting teams, identifying opportunities for automation, and implementing solutions. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and maintain the BlackLine application 

  • Assist in training and educating BlackLine users across the global company 

  • Assist in developing controls and procedures for the global company 

  • Recognize opportunities for optimization and design automation solutions 

  • Prepare and approve various journal entries and reconciliations 

  • Complete accounting activities for month-end close 

Typical Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree (B.A. or B.S) in accounting from 4 year college or university 

  • Emphasis in Information Systems or Information Technology 

Relevant Experience

  • Combination of education, training, and/or experience will be considered for this position 

  • Microsoft Office Suite including Excel and Outlook 

  • Basic data management knowledge 

  • Reconciliation of accounting and financial data 

  • Building dashboards or visualizations with Power BI or similar tooling
