About our Role

 

We have an exciting opportunity for a Customer Experience Planner to join our Supply Chain and Customer Fulfilment Team, based in, New Zealand. This newly created role is part of our evolving structure and will be based in Auckland, working across all product categories.

 

The role will be based between the Simplot Office and Woolworths NZ Head Office. Reporting to the Customer Experience Manager Retail, you will play a key role in managing product replenishment, customer service, and order processing, while driving collaboration and supply chain efficiency.

What you will do

 

  • Stakeholder management of the customer and Simplot teams to align a customer-level execution plan, to achieve the service targets and drive end-to-end supply chain efficiencies for Simplot and customer.
  • Drive the delivery of collaborative execution plans as well as proactive identification of risks to the order plan and immediate-term service horizon, and create actions to resolve with
  • Commercial, Demand and Operations stakeholders.
  • Order efficiency improvements – management of customer system and collaboration with customer stakeholders to plan inbound volumes 0-4 weeks.
  • Drive improved service results, proactive volume and execution planning, strengthened customer experience and engagement, aligned to Retail VRP scoping/role delivery.
  • Internal order processing management for Food Service, QSR and Retail channel orders
  • Internal Claims management for Food Service, QSR and Retail channel orders

About You

  • Demonstrated experience in Supply Chain, Sales, or Customer Service, ideally within FMCG or the food industry
  • Background as a VMI with strong stakeholder management and communication skills
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across various teams
  • Intermediate Excel skills with the ability to turn data into actionable insights
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Excellent planning, time management, and problem-solving abilities
  • University degree preferred, though relevant experience is highly valued
  • A team player with a passion for food and a proactive, growth-oriented mindset
