Summary

The Field Account Executive is responsible for managing large customer business in the assigned market by building strong relationships with key stakeholders to execute strategic priorities. Effectively partnering internally and externally, you will influence franchisee owner/operators, DCs, external Field Supply Chain and Simplot cross-functional teams to provide an exceptional customer experience for this strategic customer. The right candidate must reside or be willing to relocate to Atlanta, Tennessee, or Florida.  

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and manage relationships with key owner/operators and provide service support to the Field Offices. 
  • Function as a liaison between distribution centers, warehouses, third party warehouses and Simplot internal Supply Chain teams to maintain assured supply and appropriate level of safety stock. 
  • Manage all quality complaints in the restaurants and at the Distribution Centers (DCs).  Provide QA support at both internal and external cuttings, in the field and to the DCs as needed. 
  • Act as a go-to resource for product information, and product quality trouble shooting through extensive knowledge of the manufacturing process, as well as product procedures and execution in the restaurants.
  • Resolve customer issues by effectively partnering with Simplot Customer Service. Participate in and lead Supplier Quality surveys on an as needed basis and participate in non-potato category surveys.
  • Using your in-depth knowledge of Simplot’s products and operations, present best in class trainings for the field to include presentations and digital tools that would educate customer stakeholders and owner/operators, both in person and virtually. 
  • Develop opportunities to conduct training classes in key markets to elevate consumer experience in the restaurants, minimize complaints and positively impact repeat fry sales.  
  • Understand the audience’s needs and communicate the appropriate benefits of the fry quality execution including customer satisfaction and profitability improvement.  
  • Build stakeholder engagement by attending conventions, market visits, supplier blitzes and conduct field training and field office meetings in the assigned markets.

Typical Education

Bachelor's Degree (B.A. or B.S.) from 4 year college or university (required)

Relevant Experience

3+ years related experience and/or training

Other Information

  • 3+ years of relevant work experience within the Foodservice industry and successful track record in Account Management preferred.
  • 30-50% in market travel required.
  • Bilingual in Spanish beneficial.
  • Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to take complex problems and simplify them for all audiences is a critical capability.
  • Ability to work independently with the highest level of professionalism.
  • Time management/Organizational skills while working from home office and traveling.
  • Being proactive and taking steps to ensure readiness and probable success with assigned account.
  • Demonstrated ability to be a self-starter, and proven ability to successfully multi-task and manage unexpected demands of daily activities. Demonstrated problem solving skills.
  • Align and collaborate with stakeholders, cross functionally with colleagues in other departments, and external vendors to creatively solve problems and improve ways of working.
  • will cover the territory of Georgia, Tennessee, Florida, and Michigan.
